Gone: Jordan Fuder (gone to Jr.A) Josh Fauth,Tyson Sievert, Matt Macdermott, Martin Hanzel(doesnt really count)

Someone post any others if I missed anyone. maybe possible 16 or 15 year olds, because I really dont have any idea who possible under 16 pats prospects are.

Also, could someone (perhaps a rebels fan) tell me something about this justin scott kid?

He has pretty good speed, blocks shots pretty good and puts a lot of pressure on the point men on the penalty kill, unfortunately he has the scoring touch and hands of David Kaczowka or he would be a pretty well-rounded player. At the very worst, you got a penalty killing specialist.

Here are other players that were/are around in the Pats organization. If the player is actually still listed or not... I dunno (I know I most likely missed some )...

    Other Pats possibles...
    Spencer Fraipont D (18)
    Scott Brownlee LW (19)
    Matt Delahey D (17)
    Derek Hulak LW (17)
    Bradyn Metz C (16)

Prospects/Long shots to make the 2006-07 team...
    Jeff Bosch G (16)
    Matt D'Orazio G (16)
    Dru Cotterill D (16)
    Curtis Kulchar D (16)
    Stefan Schneider D (17)
    Jeff Wright D (17)
    Kyle St. Denis FWD (16)
    Brent Raedeke FWD (16)

    Uncertain about status...
    Ryan Neiszner G (18)

Depending on how things play out at camp, its gonna be tough for some of the younger players to make the team. We have a pretty solid group of returning players, and imo, very few returning players are on the bubble.

    On D, we have returning
    Pyett
    Reinhart
    Nick Ross
    Schira
-Room for Teubert, Delahney for sure... others?

    Forwards returning
    bernhardt
    Duval
    Festerling
Deck (could me moved back to D)
    Klaus (50/50 chance)
    Leffler
    Lind
    Jason MacDonald
Ryan McDonald (?- spot could be taken by a rookie)
    Kyle Ross
    Sensmen
    Scott
    - Thats 12 returning, not including Snellmen and Joula (import drafts). Possible rookies include: Hulak or Metz

    Goal
    Reekie- starter
backup is for grabs. Rowat, Neiszer (?), or one of the 16 year olds.

Overall, I dont forsee any major shakeups, yet I just dont know... I want the rookies to get a chance, but I'm not sure how much room there is for them, especially for the forwards.

    Any thoughts/ corrections?

Instead of Ryan Mcdonald being moved, I think it would be best for Jason Macdonald to be sent down to the minors temporarily, just like they did to Ryan last year. It could be best for him, he would get more playing time and experience.

Also im pretty sure rowat will be the backup next year, he is nearly as good as reekie. With some more experience, he could become starter. And I never heard anything of kyle deck going to offence, he will most likely stick to defence in his final dub year.

Im thinking the lineups could go something like this near the beginning of the season ( Im probably not even close )

    Bernhardt (88)- Festerling(86) - Duval(88)
    Mcdonald(88) - K.Ross(86)- Senseman(87)
    Hulak(88) - Lind(88) - Leffler(89)
    Brownlee(87) -Metz(90) - Scott(88)

    Schira(88) - N. Ross(89)
    Pyett(88) - Deck(86)
    Teubert(90) - Delahey(89)
    Reinhart(87)- Fraipont(88)

    Reekie(87)
    Rowat(89)

If Kalus comes back, he would most likely move into the starting line up, reuniting last years 2nd line. Im thinking 2 or 3 months into the season he might come back.

The Pats site has Deck on Left Wing, which is why I had him in my forwards lineup. I know that his natural position is D, but they were giving him time up front too last season. I think that he probebly will go back onto defense, but he is one of those players that could play anywhere.
As for Klaus, who knows... perhaps one of the 16 year olds could take his roster spot until he gets back, if he gets back... that is prolly the best case senerio for now, until we know whats going on for sure.
I think I got the MacDonald/ Mc Donald boys mixed up... thanks for correcting me on that... I had it same way you do on the paper I was fiddling around with... of course, cant type it out right.... figures...lol.

The Deck as a Left Wing was a 2005-06 pre-season experiment and it didn't last long. He played the regular season paired mostly with Logan Pyett. They just neglected to change the Pats websiteas it was like that all season long.

My thoughts for possible Pats' lines:

    Without Kalus...

    Forwards:
    (LW-C-RW)
    Niko Snellman (88)-Kyle Ross (86)-Garrett Festerling (86)
    Ryan McDonald (88)-Ian Duval (88)-Justin Bernhardt (88)
    Justin Scott (87)-Levi Lind (88)-Brett Leffler (89)
    Scott Brownlee (87)-Jason MacDonald (89)-Michael Senseman (87)

    Possibilites to crack the lineup:
Forwards- Derek Hulak (89), Brayden Metz (90), Michael Juola (88), Kyle St. Denis (90), Brent Raedeke (90).

    Defence:
    Kyle Deck (86)-Logan Pyett (88)
    Nick Ross (89)-Craig Schira (88)
    Derek Reinhart (87)-Colten Teubert (90)

    Possibilities to crack the lineup:
Spencer Fraipont (88), Matt Delahey (89), Dru Cotterill (90), Curtis Kulchar (90), Stefan Schneider (89), Jeff Wright (89)

    Goalies:
    David Reekie (87)
    Linden Rowat (89)

    Possibilities to crack the lineup:
    Jeff Bosch (90), Matt D'Orazio (90), Ryan Nieszner (88)

    With Kalus...

But... if/when (hoping) Kalus comes back... I think it would bump one of the 3rd or 4th liners out of the lineup...

    Kalus-K.Ross-Festerling
    Smellman-Duval-Bernhardt
    McDonald-Lind-Leffler
    Scott-MacDonald-Senseman
    Brownlee

I would guess that the 3rd and 4th lines might vary from game to game... guys will rotate in and out of the lineup (kinda like last year)...

defense will definately be the pats strength this season. the forwards look solid with or without kalus. normally 19 year olds have to return to junior if they are not in the nhl, but because of a european loop**** kalus can play in the ahl. i'd expect him to play the year on the bruins farm team. if the pats can score enough goals they will be very tough to beat.

regina is my pre-season favourite to win the division and conference.
