Swift Current Broncos Assistant Coach Dave Hunchak is set to leave for the Czech Republic Thursday for the World U-18 Hockey Championships.

Hunchak is presently in Calgary at the evaluation camp. He will be behind the bench as an assitant coach to Cory Clousten of the Kootenay Ice.

He's looking forward to working with the top players in Canada and says this team will be the best Canada has to offer as opposed to the Spring tournament in Sweden where they only sent players who were no longer in the CHL playoffs.

Canada will play an exhibition game before beginning the tournament set for both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

So was Nelson not included in this group because he turned 18 between the spring and summer camps?
