Wellington West Broncos Golf Classic A Huge Success

The Swift Current Broncos announced on Wednesday that the Wellington West Broncos Golf Classic, which was held this year on July 21st at the Elmwood Golf and Country Club, has raised over $17,000 for the team.

A total of 144 golfers took part in this years sold out tournament and were treated to a day of golf, a steak supper, and prizes donated by local sponsors. Over 20 alumni stretching over 4 decades were a part of this year’s tournament.

The Broncos thank Wellington West for their corporate sponsorship of the annual golf tournament and for all of their help in planning and organizing the entire tournament. Without them, this fundraiser would not be successful.

Both the Swift Current Broncos and Wellington West would like to thank all of the volunteers and sponsors who made this years golf tournament such a success. The 2007 Wellington West Broncos Golf Classic is already in the planning stages.
