    Default Kelowna Wing trivia

Going from memory, so I could be a little off!

Who was the Goalie of the Kelowna Wings ( later to be Spokane CHiefs ) that I believe let in eight goals against the Wendell Clark Saskatoon Blades and lost the game 8-0 was named the Kelowna player of the game?

It was a incredible proformace by a goalie that I have ever seen. With no defense, every goal was scored by third or forth rebound.

    Who was the goalie?

    Default Brad Armitage

Brad also had a brother who was a WHL Ref during the late 80s.

After his Hockey career Brad worked with his dad Ernie at the old Pizza Plus restuarant in westbank where Lord Chumlys is located now.
Havent seen him for a few years now, not sure if he's still around these parts

Rod did ref lots, he coached me in baseball.

I ate a few times at the Pizza Plus, it was good and Ernie is a great guy. I heard Brad living on the WEstside but haven't seen him for about five years.
