    Default Tokarski wins backup battle

I'm not completely shocked or anything, but I did find this fairly suprising. I guess I just assumed that Stehr would be the backup at least to start the season. I know Tokarski did well at camp and Stehr looked pretty shakey and I guess it was enough to warrant giving Tokarski the shot. Hopefully he preforms as well during the WHL regular season as he has done so far in the preseason. Stehr was assigned to the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Stehr always seemed to get rattled easy.. when he let that floppy goal in down in TC at the tourny 30 seconds in, i was like ooh god here we go again, but he solidifed the rest of the game and played stellar.

The thing about Stehr is when hes on, he's on. He definately is a WHL calibre goalie, its just that the Chiefs have two that are ready to step it up bigtime.

I still think Tokarski has a real good shot at being #1 on the Chiefs, but I'm a huge fan of him
    Lets go Chiefs.
