Recommendations for hotel near the arena?

If you have the extra $$$ to spend, I would definitely recommend the Davenport hotel. Expensive (I believe the cheapest room is about $200 a night) but the hotel is gorgeous and the service is excellent. Other, more moderately priced hotels in the area include the Doubletree hotel and the Courtyard by Mariott. The Doubletree has about twice as many rooms as the Courtyard I believe. There are others in the vacinity as well, but those are the top 3 I would recommend. I'd say it's less than a 10 minute drive to the arena from any of these 3 hotels.

I know some drag racers that like the double tree when they are in Spokane for a race.

Don't stay at the Howard Johnson! ICK! I can thank Priceline for that one!

I would suggest the Doubletree as well have stayed there in the past.

I'm partial to anyone with waffles at their continental breakfast. All I need the room in Spokane for is to pass out in peace. Holiday Inn Express on the northside of the river is decent. But I'm not picky.
