So now we have to wait
But only until Friday night when the road weary Blades roll into town. Now comes the list of 'Hopefully':
1) The injury list is short or non-exisistant so Mike can ice the best team available for the first time in his WHL coaching career
2) the offense finds its scoring touch and plays both ends of the ice with the authority that they are touted to have.
3) The defense keeps its steady play, and getting a couple big bodies back, and a right hand shot, gets stronger, better and smarter.
4) The week of practice has done the guys some good and they all realize that they have to believe in themselves, the coaches plans, and their teammates to make this team the sucess that it can be.
5) More than 3000 show up to the games this weekend. The bandwagon fans of this town are often the most vocal, but truely have no clue what is actually happening with the team other than the scores printed in the paper every day.
I understand this is a rebuilding year, but come on boys!!
