Dan Spence named ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week

Toronto - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Dan Spence of the Calgary Hitmen is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Sunday October 29 after posting a 2-1-0-0 record, with two shutouts, a 0.67 goals against average and a .974 save percentage in three starts last week.
The 18-year-old from Langley, BC started the week 24 saves in a 2-1 loss to the Red Deer Rebels on October 24. On October 27, he made 35 saves for the shutout in a 3-0 win over the Regina Pats and two nights later, Spence enjoyed a 15-save shutout in a 7-0 win over the Swift Current Broncos.
Each week the CHL recognizes the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week and will present the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Year Award to the CHL's top netminder at the conclusion of the 2006-07 season.
