On Saturday, December 10th, Barnes recorded a power-play goal and added an assist in a 4-3 win against the visiting Prince Albert Raiders.

On Sunday, December 11th, Barnes scored a short-handed goal and the game-winning goal in a 4-2 home victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors.
